Baked Ravioli Casserole

1 quart spaghetti sauce
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1 14.5 oz. can petite tomatoes
1/2 cup diced onion
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon Italian spices
1 clove minced garlic
salt and pepper
26 oz. bag frozen cheese ravioli

  • Brown the ground beef. Add the onion, salt, pepper and garlic. When the onion is translucent add the jar of spaghetti sauce, petite tomatoes and spices. Cook for 20 minutes.
  • While the sauce is cooking add the frozen ravioli to a pan of boiling salted water. When it comes back to a boil, cook for 1 minute more. Drain in a colander.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Add a little of the sauce to the bottom of the pan. Add the ravioli. Top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
